Coaching

I guide people through change moments by helping them see the future they’re building for themselves and others.

This is often in the form of a creative endeavor, a life transition, a big decision, or when it’s time for a new schedule or strategy.

…And, let’s face it, in 2026 …when building resilience, resistance… When finding purpose and putting it into action. Right now.

Choice and Change

Lots of us are making things work this year, calling in our resources, finding out how we can help each other and ourselves through change.

What do you want to make, and how can I help you make it?

  • A decision, a business, an underground network, a piece of art

  • A life in progress

  • What are you making that camaraderie and creative action can bring into being?

Folks know life is about transformation. We can’t get through it without changing, shedding, choosing, becoming new. Again and again. Creativity is simply a doorway into that change and choice. Creativity is often a proactive guide through some of life’s most rewarding and challenging moments.

Trusting the Process

In this extraordinary time of change, personally and collectively, I’ve been finding courage and comfort in what I know about creating. There’s a process. There’s an itch, a need, an invitation. There’s a bargaining and an intention-setting. There’s an acceptance. Then there’s a path strewn with obstacles, and if we’re looking and listening, there are hosts of helpers along the way.

When creating—and life—get tricky, if I remember that there’s a process, and to trust it, I can ride it out. I know I can make what I’m called to make. When I do, there’s something to live out loud for on the other side. There’s a celebration. And parts of myself are new, too. My creation is made, and I’m different for it. My life has taken on more dimension, for me and the people in it. And if I’ve made a thing for others, and they are benefitting from that creation, I’ve fulfilled that pact with my muse, and have made the world a little (or a lot) different.

As a Creativity Coach and Intuitive Guide, I work with leaders and artists, inventors and parents, speakers and third-act seekers, and your best friend following their calling.

A bridge. A plan. A resource map. A hopeful strategy. A friend. A recipe stretch. An income. Inspiration. Art and art and art. Are you ready for it?

What coaching looks like

A typical engagement has this baseline:

  • Two 1-on-1 coaching sessions per month

  • For 4 to 6 months

  • On video conference, or by phone

Variations often look like:

  • Monthly or weekly sessions, to reflect needed pace

  • A customized, in-person 4-day retreat

  • Continuation options that include monthly drop-in office hours for spot coaching, or resetting into a new series at the end of the last one

Whatever we do together and when, you’ll feel seen, heard, and in touch with the most creative and generative parts of yourself as you make what’s next for you in your life.

Feel Seen, Heard & Powerfully Positioned

It’s the listening.
The intuition.
The creative strategy.
It’s the powerful questions.

The mirroring so you can see what you’re working with, what’s ahead, and just how effervescent that vision is, how navigable the map.

I help you feel safe, seen and heard – to make what you want to make, hear yourself think, and see your visions reflected, so you can organize them into material steps and a timeline, and benefit from your focus.

With a decade as a creative coach, 200+ hours of Co-Active coach training, and ongoing education and process, the tool set ever expands. Most importantly, my clients create so much affinity and fulfillment, in session with me and out in the world, I want it for everyone. Join me?

“Pema brought out a story in me I didn't know I had. With her inspiration and guidance I was able to write a travel memoir in less than a month, and I attribute almost all of that to her. She helped me to face, accept, process and write about the things that scare me most, and in working with her I finally felt confident enough to call myself an author. I can't thank her enough!”

“You create simplicity out of conundrum. More importantly though, you find the real meaning and help me pursue those thoughts in a much more substantial and clear way. It's a pretty incredible gift. I've never met someone who can do that quite like you.”

— M.H.

“You made what is up-in-the-air more material for me . . . It’s like you just showed me on a map where home is.”
